90-95 n/a auto trans work for a 96 z32?

Hi all, I'm new here and I just bought a second 300zx. Anyway the Z I just bought has a bad auto trans in it and I'm trying to find out if there is any differences between the 90 to 95 n/a auto transmission and a 96' n/a auto transmission?

I've found many 90 to 95 model auto transmissions for sale but they don't say that they will fit the 96 model. Also did several searches on the topic and couldn't come up with anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I know there are several changes from 95 to 96 but I'm not sure about the auto trans.

The car is a 96' 2+2 n/a auto transmission.

Thanks

Have found so far that the n/a z's used the re4r01a jatco automatic transmission from 90 to 97 but still don't know if there are any electrical changes over the years.

Would like to know if a trans from a 90 to 95 model Z would be plug and play for my 96 model?

Thanks

Nissan OEM 300ZX Automatic Transmission - Non-Turbo Remanufactured - Nissan performance parts

If you select the year from the drop down menu, it looks as though there are differences between most of the years:

1990
1991 - '93
1994 - '95
1996

Whether or not these are physical or electrical differences, I don't know. You could always contact them and ask, I imagine they know about their products.
