I was watching "North Hollywood Shoot-out" on FX... And as the cops blew by sitting traffic, sure enough, there was a blue Z, masked tails, and a body kit. Nice looking.

Also, on SPEED channel, Kazzer (Sport Car Revolution, Tuesday at 9:00pm, good show!) test drove a 400+hp 300ZedX TT. It was red, stock body, HUGE exhaust system sticking out the back, and it had nitrous induction to tickle the RPM up to 3,000RPM, for quicker turbo spool. Nice car.

Who else is happy to see the Z making a come back?

(wasnt there also a shot in Fast And Furious, in the end credit's, where you could see the reflection of a girl "booty dancing" in a 300ZX rear panel????)

 

Ya, I saw the one on FX too. Was pretty sweet. I wish Speed would show some more japanese racing.

They had a thing on SPEED a while back on Rod Millen (Steve Millen's brother, his company is STILLEN, if you dont know). It was HUGE thing on drifting, they didnt give them any credit, but Team Orange, Team RS-R, and some American dude were tearing that course up, to the max. Crazy manuvuers, open-door cutbacks, cross over's, AG Nose dives... Insane things.

Rod built an IS430 hybird (IS 300 body, with GS430 engine, its engine code is 1UZ GTE) he had his hand at drifting that beast... Very nice.

There are rumors that SPEED will start covering D1 series. D1 is professional drifting series, there are already contest's being held in America, the most recent at Irwindale speedway. Featuring Team Orange, RS-R... And some American guys, haha .

JAMO (Japanese Motorsports) is sticking it's nose into American culture now guys... Should be a good 10 years ahead of us

 

Ya I saw the piece on Millen, was pretty cool. Unfortunately I really cant get in to the whole drifting thing. Just doesnt turn me on.
