Yep, I've already put on 10K on my 96TT purchased end of Dec. 07. 98% of these miles are hgwy due to my job. Fastest I have gone is 130 on a nearly private straightaway!! Here are a few details, if you care:

• I've decided to not upgrade the rims this year primarilly because the car is parket mostly outside gulp!!! (and gas prices some)gulp!gulp!!
• I have had intermittent brake light problems (traced to 3rd brake light assy).
• After a big rain, I have noticed substantial water flow onto the driver's side speaker area when I open the trunk. I thought it was a loose rear wiper base rubber casing, but I now believe the leak is from the passenger side rear spoiler gasket. I fixed the wiper base rubber baffle thingy, and that hasn't resolved the leak. It doesn't happen when I wash the car by hand but sometimes, it happens when I go through a touch free car wash.
• The one problem I can't seem to resolve is a 5th-gear grind at any RPM above 2500. It's definitely a bad synchro, but I'm learning to shift to 5th under 2500K. I've ground it, maybe 12 times so far, despite attempts to carefully shift to 5th!!! I have Redline MT90 and plan to do a tranny oil change at my next service in about 2K.
