does anyone have wheel spacers for their z? i have a 90 n/a and was wondering if the stock wheels have the grooves on the inside of the wheel to install them.

to make the wheels flush with the fenders.

i know some people who have them, and they are holding up fine. but they can be dangerous. make sure they are installed correctly and everything.

yea i was thinking that i could put some on...to fill up the horizontal gap towards the fender on rear and maybe front. but if they are dangerous the its out of the question.

I don't think wheel spacers are dangerous as long as you use the hub-centric kind and maintain the proper wheel stud length and thread engagement. If you go to the thicker spacers, you need to use the kind that bolt to the hub and then the spacers have their own wheel studs mounted in them.

I wouldn't use spacers myself, especially on the front where changing the effective wheel offset can have a significant impact on steering and suspension dynamics.

15mm is too much.
either use a 7mm or narrower spacer ring or go with the bolt-on 5 to 5 adaptors. Those would be a minimum 30mm which is too much.

If the 7mm ring doesn't do what you need then just buy wider wheels. Have you looked for the stock TT wheels?

I have spacers in the front, but replaced the studs with longer nismo wheel studs and open ended lugs. No the stock wheels don't have grooves.

no you need to replace your studs with longer ones... those extended studs things (if were talking about the same thing) are bull ****....
