steering wheel misaligned

steering wheel misaligned

Hey, when im driving straight down the road, my steering wheel is slanted like 20 degrees to the right. Whats wrong?

Alignment. Take it to the tire shop, they'll fix you up.

I don't think it's that because I really don't force the wheel to the left and if I let go, it will still go straight.

Then it's probably because whoever aligned it before did a crappy job. ie: they didn't re-center the wheel before setting the alignment. You can either re-align it correctly or live with it until you need another alignment. The tell-tale sign of it needing an alignment is by how bad/fast your tires are wearing.

it's an alignment problem.
That's the answer. Believe it or don't believe it.
A new alignment will fix your problem.
Don't take it back to whoever did it the first time. Obviously they didn't do it right the first time.
