Power steering leakage

I noticed today that I have power steering fluid all over the front of my motor. I was wondering what the side affects of a leaky power steering pump would be? Besides its really hard to turn at low speeds. Also where could I get a new or good used one?

i doubt fluid all over the painted parts of your car are good either.
2nd on the killing of the alternator. fluid on the belts will shorten their lifespan also.

..... and the last thing you want to do is shorten the lifespan of your t-belt.
