conflicting upper control arms install

Has anybody else noticed that these two control write ups conflict?

http://www.splparts.com/doc/SPLFUAZ32/default.htm

http://twinturbo.net/ttnettech/aarms/aarms.html

The control arms are going oppsite directions????? I just installed mine according to SPL's install directions, hope I did it right. What does everyone else think?

I installed mine the other way, as in TT.net example, as it gives a bit more clearance from the spring to adjust them. They have been working well for over a year now. I don't think it is a huge differance either way.

Just out of curiousity, do those upper arms (front and back) still need bushings? Or, do they have their own bushing assembly? They look like the latter. I am asking because I have some SPL upper arms front and back to prepare for my SPL coilovers that I am installing in the next month or so (when I get off my lazy ***). Thanks.

The "links" can really install two differnt ways. Look in the pics. The SPL parts pic the links are closer to the spring. In the TT.net pics there is more clerence like in the pics that Barry'Z posted.

Anyways I hope it doesn't matter which way they go because I put them in the oppsite of how Barry'Z put his in and I had to beat the heak out of my third link with a rubber malet to get them to go in.

Yeah, a little. I am doing more suspension stuff than motor stuff, though. I am keeping the exterior stock. I actually just got my front arms in the mail yesterday, hopefully my rear today (but, alas, I am on duty). I am just going to install them the way SPL says to do it. I don't think I'll have any clearance problems if I have coilovers.
