You need to find another alignment shop.

camber is not adjustable on a z32 is stock form, but i believe toe is.

nismo619 06-05-2008 05:48 PM

What would i do if i bought these ? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/JDM-T...spagenameZWDVW would this help my toe in problem ? just wondering...

No, that won't fix your problem.

As already mentioned, take it to another shop.

It's spelled alignment.

Toe is adjustable.
If they said they can't adjust it, then forget them. If something is broken, then cool.

Care to explain why they said they couldn't?

My guess, is that you wanted something done that they couldn't, like the camber, or that something was broken. Otherwise, I can't see them turning down business.

I've installed a couple of the 300degree camber plate kits, on other peoples' Z's, that adjusted for the eibach springs. If you're on stock springs, or anything else except the eibachs, the plates won't help.

I bought the ebay adjustable camber arms for my car for $195 + shipping. They are identical looking to the Powertrix cambers arms that I have also held in my hand. These camber arms have some design problems that I was able to work out. I've heard of similar problems with other name-brand camber arms too.

First, the aluminum fittings that ride in the bearings and slide into the oem mounting brackets are too wide to fit into the bracket. Some people have bent the metal bracket open to make the arms fit. I ended up milling down the aluminum fittings until they fit into the brackets. I didn't want to bend any oem parts.

Second problem, is that if you tighten down the pivot bolts to the proper torque spec, the bearings that should pivot freely, end up being in a bind and won't pivot freely. What I did was to tighten down the first nut until it started to cause a bind in the bearing. Then I backed the nut off to eliminate the bind. I then added a second nut and torqued it to spec against the first nut.

Good luck with solving your alignment problem. :)

I dunno. Where are you located, and what does "down and out" mean?

I would like a donor L28ET for my 260.

I thought it out that far. But... Does that mean internal damage? Did the entire engine blow up into tiny peices? How bad is bad? You know what I mean?
