1990 300zx Na 16 inch wheels vs 17 inch?

For performance purposes only which size wheel performs better om acceleration. And I'd I go with a 17 inch wheel will the speedometer be off?
Thanks

If you take one larger and one smaller wheel of the same style, the larger will be heavier, so larger ones would make the car accelerate slower technically. As long as you keep the outer diameter (of the tire) as close to stock as possible, you won't notice any changes with your dash readings.

Thanks, Rupe, I made the switch to 17 wheels I now have 215-45 in the front and 235-50 in the back, but now when I go at 70 the car just doesn't feel right it just vibrates a little and it never di that before with the stock wheels, and to me it just seems a little slower to get up there than before I don't know I'm a little disappointed with the performance but I love the look, I'm just not sure how I can remedy the problem the tire guy says he balanced them but I just don't know maybe the rear tires are bad or something I just don't know.
