tail light finish

so the whole back panel that has the tail lights in it... i know i should know a better word for it but i don't. just like paint, it has lost it's shine over the years. i see plenty of pictures of cars with this whole panel looking immaculate. what is a good way to get the gloss back on this? i know off the top of my head from pictures on here that Entropy has a good looking finish here. my thought was to sand it with emery cloth or something and spray clear coat on it, but that may make it apear cloudy. what has everyone else done?

it gets fadded on the inside and starts to turn red from black. most people just replace them with JDM rear tail lights and center panel.

haha very nice! I wish i could say the same, but it's obvious that no previous owner of my car has gone out of thier way to take care of it.

If it's not discolored, get a good plastic polish and get to work.

It'll shine up like new
