I need to replace my seats in my z. I have leatherseats, but they are split so bad they need to be trashed. I've looked at sparco seats but do not want to pay $500 for a pair of seats. There are Nismo seats on ebay but not sure if I can trust what I'm seeing or not. Need ideas from anyone who has replaced their seats.

 

i can guarantee you that the ebay seats arent real nismo. i think b300z had them in his old z before he wrecked it, and i think he liked them.

 

You can also recover your stock seats.

 

i 2nd the reupholstering of the stock seats.

 

the ebay nismo ones don't look too bad,, i'd go with them or recaro or sparco or something. But yes, you can get your stock seats reupholstered for probably the same price, possibly cheaper, all depends on what kind of leather you get (friend of mine is putting Guicci in his Z)

 

or you could always go with these guys. not exactly the price range you mentioned, but damn they look good.

they were a good company but kinda went south towards the end of it's existence.

 

that's exaclty what I'm thinking. then importZextreme is another company to look into, good stuff.

 

They're "Kat Skins" I think Emo. Bjz got a set and they are pretty nice.
