Lambo Doors on a 300 zx
Hey,last night I was checking the rides at cardomain.com and I found a '90 300zx with Lamborghini style doors,I think it looks awesome but I need your opinions before I go and buy the kit .I'm gonna give you the link where I got the picture from and go see it 'cause they have more pictures and let me know what you think...This is the link:

Looks interesting enough. How do the doors open and close? Are they easy to do both? How much hardware is involved? Is it heavy? Can it be remote controlled? Just wondering on the practicallity and ease of use of such a modification.

I have been pondering the same mod. Take a peep at my Exotic Z post to see what I have in mind. Get back to me on the difficulty of this project! peace

ahhhhhhhh no. We've discussed this one to no end at 3ZC. It's a possible modification if you have the money, yes. There is a company that does it, and/or sells the kits.
However, personally... it's a Z, not a Lambo. Do what you want to your own of course, but I think it would ruin the car's appearance. But of course, this is IMHO. If you want to be original, go pick up the Ab-Flug kit, throw in some JDM headlights, and some nice Volks... :D |
let me test my skills....
AbsolutSlicktop, is that a 92? Im pretty sure it is, it looks about 6 inches longer, as most 92 and aboves were.

I dig it, no body else really does, I guess, but shit, that's customizing, I would check the ease of use and breakage though, the last thing you want bustin on you at a show or the street races are your doors, well not engine stuff either, but your door falling off would look really shitty, and embarrasing

ok, here's a really OLD thread....
just for the record, I still don't like it. ;) |
