Are the headlights 9005? or H something? And I've been looking at converting to the JDM clear taillights but they are kinda expensive...what does everyone think about the conversion lenses on ebay for like $21? This is just the lense, not the enite aseembly. Do you guys think that it would be the same?

 

low beam are 9006, hi beam are 9005.
no it's not the same, not even close.

 

whats different about them

 

theyre made from 3rd rate crap. JDMs are not.

 

those "conversions" are just basically the stock tail lamps taken apart and changing out the color of the lense. They look like the stock tail lamps with the lenses changed.

The JDM tail lights however look totally different. Yes the lower section is white but there are also lines that go across the whole assembly. The black is darker, the interior edges are chromed, they just look better period.

hey what brand bulbs are the brightest? im using sum 8500k bulbs but it doesnt seem that bright...are piaa's good?

 

Generally anything abouve 6000k or so starts to sacrifice light for color..My Phillips 4200k HID Kit is SOOOOOO BRIGHT..I <3 it..I suggest buying an HID kit stat if you have issues..

 

where did u get the HID kit and how much did it run you? i was looking on ebay and they are about $350... do you think they are the same as the ones you have?
