Auto a/c troubles
No ac, only hot air and only coming from the defrost vents. I can not change direction of air or temperature. I can hear the relay click but no cold air.

Check the FSM and google z32 auto climate control diagnostics. If you need a new control unit, I have one I'll give you. I'm in palm springs.

- Are you sure you have frigofluid in the pipes ? - Compressor can bu running but not compressing if dead - Is the radiator fan running when you turn on A/C ? |

I'm guessing the air is hot because its passing over the heater core due to the fact that I can not change the direction of air flow from the defrost vents. |

No I haven't been able to check refrigeration fluid or pressure...but yes the fan comes on when I turn on the a/c.

You should first check the fluid it's a common issue
then there is no relation with the heater, except if you have another problem like you're heating and freezing at the same time Thanks! |
Just a thought, is there a way to electrically test the the ac compressor and or clutch to see if its working??

but then clutch can be on and the compressor broken you should control the pressure with compressor working and clutch under voltage to know excuse my english level :~ |

I would say you can check voltage for the clutch command first (to know if you have a command from control unit)

Would I be testing for voltage at the relay?
