Z31 engine problem

I hold the accelerator down and this is what it does and it also takes a long time to idle down when it is running right http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EOBn0...=youtube_gdata

I'm not sure what you mean.... Is this a statement or question?

Would this be the same problem from a year ago? https://www.zdriver.com/forums/300zx-z31-forums-8/1985-engine-cuts-out-28426/

No it's not the same problem and it was a statement when I get home I'll post what codes showed up

It seems that its the MAF. Pull that off and see if the wires aren't broken. If they are then, buy another. You can get cheap off ebay but they are used... i paid over 250 for mine at checker auto parts. I even have a spare in my tool box in case it goes out again that i got a junkyard for 6 bucks

I'm almost positive it's not the maf because when I unplug it it runs even worse and if the maf was bad and I unplugged it it shouldn't change anything right?
