This has probably been posted before or I could probably research it abit but it might be a quick question, so here goes.

We're dropping a VG30ET into a car which is currently VG30E, and while the turbo engine is out we wanted to do basic maintenece and also upgrade the turbo. We planned on using stock internals, and this car will be driven on the street, but we also wanted a good bit of power out of it. What do you guys recommend for a turbo? I dont have much exepreince with nissans mostly mazdas so I am kind of clueless so forgive me if its been gone over countless times. Any suggestions?

Garrett T3 turbo. You'll need to upgrade to a T3/T4 hybrid if you're looking for real power. You'd do better off using aftermarket blow off/pop-off valves, and an aftermarket wastegate. Keep in mind.. the pop-off valve is built into the intake manifold (to my understanding, but then again I don't have a turbo model Z). So, you might want to convert to a N/T manifold, or have Engloid fab one for you. These are the best places I can send you for your needs. I'm currently in search of the same thing you're doing, yet.. I'm not using a VG30, I'm using a VG33. So... I've still got to figure everything out, since I'm also not using a T3/T4, but a T04E. I'm sure there will be more knowledgable people to give you better suggestions than I can.
