VG30 starting problem??
 

Hi all,
I have a friend here in Australia who has a 300ZX '84 model with the VG30 motor in it. He has a problem that is driving him crazy. . . he has been to the dealer and various other places but no-one seems to be able to fix it.
the problem is: when the outside temperature is cool. ..like first thing in the morning . .. the car starts fine.
When the outside air temp is warm or hot. . the car is very difficult to start. .. .Any ideas???

fuel injector is in choke mode:::

(car motor temperature sensor tells the car is in choke mode:

so it starts






When the outside air temp is warm or hot. .

(the car is still in choke mode and tells the fuel injektor to run TO RICH )

(sleightly higher rpm`s)

chokes it to death

the car is very difficult to start. .. ??or will not start at all



easy temorary fix



un plug motor temp sensor (never choke)

on the passenger side on the front of your car about by your radiator cap on top of your block are two plugs

the one (two wire plug ) that set of wires goes straight down behind the timing belt cover

thats the one just un plug that connector and try to start if motor is warm
