Tranny question.. will it work?
My boss has an 86 Z31, and his tranny is acting up pretty bad. He just past 130k, so I'm sure yall know the tranny is junk now. 
Anywho, heres the question:
As a worst case scenario.. Will an automatic from an S130 (79-83 280ZX) work in his beast? Obviously the bellhousings would be different, which can be swapped (can they?) but as I understand things, internally both of them are the same 3speed JATCO tranny.
Any ideas or thoughts on this?
