Mine has been leaking where it goes into the tranny . What type of oil should be in there ? Going to change out o-ring this weekend . Took it out a couple of weeks ago and some type of oil came out when I did so I right back in . hope someone can help thanks Rob

 

how much of an angle did you have the car on? just removing the pinion assembly should not allow that much fluid to escape unless you have the front end seriously high in the air compared to the back.

as far as fluids, it's transmission fluid.
