n/a to turbo ?

ok i got a garret t25 oil lubricated, water-cooled turbo to put on my 86 n/a. where do i connect the water lines coming to and from the turbo to on the engine/coolant hoses? and where can i get a connector to put on the oil sending unit to run the oil line to it?

BTW, the T25 was meant for the 88-89 Z31T: http://www.az-zbum.com/information.differences.shtml

Not that easy. Ur gonna need a lot more parts and do a lot more research.

im not doint the complete swap. gonna make a custom manifold so i dont have to alter my ac or alternator. and ive read up and people have run low boost safely with stock n/a injectors and ecu. im not looking for much right now. im going to build it eventually, just a little more oomf without spending alot, cuz i dont have much lol. basically i need to know if this turbo will work and i can route the water lines somewhere or if i need to get one that isnt watercooled. and i seen on other vehicles there is a t that you screw into where the oil pressure sending unit bolts into the engine and then you plug the unit into the t and the feed line into the other end. i cant find any pics or info anywhere on how the stock turbo z31's are set up. and i know the t25 on the 88and 89 were watercooled, so it should be feaseable.

So yes, really all you need is a T on the oil pressure sensor, and run the oil line to the turbo. Remember you will need to remove the oil pan and weld on a bung for the oil return / drain. You could T the throttle body coolant line to feed the turbo... and done.

Don't expect the motor or turbo to last very long though. :D The only time I'd do this is when I want to make a fun cruiser and catch it blow up on video.

Make sure you video the first test drive if you rock a turbo slapped onto a completely stock na block with na everything. And film every time you floor it. Cause it'll be spectacular either by how it performs and surprises us, or how it grenades soon after.please.
