got a 86 zx gas meter not working. heater stays at one position would like to turn off the heat or just the vent. but the heat still comes in. heat or air only comes in at the def. position. oil pressure drops at higher rpm. at 22 rpm the oil pressure is at 45 but any higher than that it drops. car runs hard and fast. good car just a little bit of problems. Do i have to replace the dash and the climate control units. and what do i do about the oil pressure.

 

the fuel guage problem is most likely due to a bad fuel sending unit. fairly easy fix. access is under the hatch carpet. check your haynes for detailed instructions. oil pressure could be due to the oil pressure sending unit. instructions to replace that are also in the haynes.

heater is a vacuum leak or the manual defrost button is pushed (digital climate control only).
