I can't get new timing belt to go on
I can't get new timing belt to go on ... I have the tensioner all the way out of the way I have the sprockets all lined up correctly ... I put belt over crank sprocket then I have tried either the R or L cam sprocket and can't get it on the 3rd sprocket it's almost there ... I've tried moving each cam just a little to give me some slack but I need just a little bit more ... I was told to loosen the cam bolts to provide a little slack but I can't loosen those at all there on way too tight and there is nothing to brace or hold the cam sprockets with enough force to break them, can't get an impact wrench in there either ... the manual says to put a screw driver in the 12 o'clock hole to hold cam sprocket that's the stupidest idea, doesn't work nothing to brace against, cam moves ... besides the nissan mechanics at courtesy nissan said it should go on easy with tensioner out of the way and you should never have to loosen cam sprocket bolts to get it on. .... any suggestions
