i just bought some headers for my 86 300zx and i was wondering if install them would my car still pass the smog test

 

if your car passed fine before, it should be fine with the headers. but thats not a guarantee, all depends on the smog laws in your area. if you are in cali, and they see them on a visual inspection, and they are not CARB certified, you may get some hassle. but i doubt they would notice.

 

wait, where can you buy headers for a z31???

 

MSA or PaceSetter have headers for the z31.

 

i got my headers at a place called RRR. its a near by store in my city. the headers that i bought were the only ones they had and so i bought them rite away. another question is ez to put headers in, do u know if i have to remove anything and wat kinda tools i will b needing?

 

better buy a case of tylanol for all the headaches its going to give..

 

is it really that difficult? i thought u just have to take off the stock ones and replace them with the new ones
