Fed. ECU on Cali Car

What I need to know (and I'll make another post about it) is if a federal ecu for the same year and transmission (and non turbo) car would work on a cali car (i dont care about emmisions cause I'm not in cali and KY doesn't require emmissions checks)????

If you want to know why just check my previous post (wtf the paint shop ruined my car)
