Im kind of curious about this subject as well lol. I searched and didn't really find anything that helped me out... I WAS thinking about HKS's Hi Power but why wouldn't you use it on a Z31?

considering the z31 is single exhaust, i doubt it would work, unless you want to be like the honduh kids with "dual exhaust" with one fake muffler. also, it wont fit.

akz31 07-25-2007 11:34 PM

Well thats why i would obviously order the uhh Z31 model instead of the Z32. lol i thought there was a specific reason not to use it or something.

i was unaware HKS was still making z31 exhausts, or that they ever made a Hi Power for the z31. link?

hoov100 07-25-2007 11:42 PM

my exhaust on my NA z31 is two 3" pipes coming out of the header, then it goes into an x-pipe with the cat case welded over it, then it goes into a "bullet" brand muffler..

vodka and coke, a little sweet, but also a little tangy?

entropy31 07-25-2007 11:49 PM

and the #1 reason not to use a HKS Hi-Power exhaust on a z31??

Survey Says: They never made one for the z31!!!!

hoov100 07-25-2007 11:50 PM

custom is so much better.......

also, HKS DID have their own z31...

very true. and they made z31 performance parts as well, including exhausts and intercoolers. but they never made a HiPower series exhaust system for the z31.

hoov100 07-26-2007 12:04 AM

maybe as a prototype, but never in production, i noticed the sr20 exhaust has the same shape as the z31 downpipe though.

akz31 07-26-2007 12:17 AM

Well i found a couple universal Hi-Power systems at a couple different places listed under Z31 but that is just the actual muffler, no piping... I can't remember exactly what site i was on when i saw it but it must have just been the "universal" muffler as well because i can't find a Z31 specific kits now.

snwbrderphat540 07-26-2007 11:17 AM

how much for the mufflers? i need one myself. lol

akz31 07-27-2007 11:36 PM
