Dash issues

Again I'm writing to try and find out what is wrong with my dash. I have an analog dash. It has not worked in months. Nothing works on the dash, speedometer, gas gauge rear defroster etc.
Someone please help, my mileage is not turning and I have to guess on the gas. Would the electrical system not working properly also cause it to run poorly? It has a few jumps and jerks while driving.

PLEASE HELP!

the dash going out doesn't make it run poorly. sounds like you need to just go through and check and clean every connection you can. there are a few threads on the digital dash problem. i don't remember what they said, so you could look them up.

There are two places the dash harness plugs into the car. One is at the ECU and the other is above the drivers left knee, Check the harness connecting plugs for corrosion

Do you have the digital dash or the analog dash?? You said analog. Check the fuses and the fuseable links. I know I blew a fuseable link once and my dash went out and mine is analog. There is a power unit for the digital dash under the dashboard next to the steering column. The analog speedo runs off a cable from the transmission.

Your power supply probably has a bad connection, or has just died. Most of the time the connections can be resoldered and they work fine again.
