i was windering where the best place for the center of gravity on a car would be the center of the car right? if so
does any one think putting the tranny in the back of the car might even out the weight?

are you talking about a transaxle setup, like in a 928? porsche put the tranny in the back of those to balance the weight of the v-8 up front, with a torque tube connecting them.
