Another N/A to Turbo ?... yes... i've searched

ok... sorry for another post... but I have searched.

I DO NOT WANT TO PUT A TURBO ON MY CURRENT MOTOR (maybe... :@)

I DO... HOWEVER... WANT TO PUT A TURBO MOTOR IN MY ENGINE BAY

I have a 1986 300z n/a with an auto transmission

My goal would be to put a z31 stock turbo motor with a manual tranny in...

Has anyone done this that can help...?

It would apprear to me that it would be mostly straight forward.

New ECU
Turbo motor (turbo, manifolds, etc...)
Turbo wiring harness
Turbo crossmemeber
Turbo tranny
Manual center consolesd (room for the stick)
Some gauges
FMIC or stock SMIC
Piping
Oil liines for the turbo

Am I missing anything?
Has anyone ever seen this done?
am I retarded... and yes I know its easier (and sometimes cheaper) to buy a turbo 300z... but I got a sweet deal on this mint n/a... its beautiful... and only 100k miles...

Any advice... links to write up's... help would be much appreciated

Does anyone know if they even sell jdm (or usdm) front clips fo rthis or would i have to find a donor car?

You do not have to change your center console.
You will need the clutch and brake pedals from a manual, as well as a clutch master cylinder. (this was the most irritating part of the whole auto to manual swap in my opinion)
You will also need to do a bit of re-wiring for the reverse lights, and neutral safety switch. But if your getting a replacment wire harness for the turbo motor, just get one from a manual and it should solve that problem for ya.
You will need to get a driveshaft that the proper length and fittings for your trans. and diff. While you have it out, you should have replacable U joints installed.

I had writeups bookmarked for this stuff, but I've lost them. If I find them I'll be sure to post them for you.
They came in handy when I did an auto to manual swap on my first Z.
