'86 Turbo 5-spd - Looking for Replacement Clutch

Thinking about replacing my '86T clutch, a little slippage in the upper gears. Don't know exactly what's on there now but it's as close to OEM performance as I have seen. Was perfect when I bought her. Everything on her is pretty much OEM now. Runs great. 260K miles. :104:

Does anybody have a good clutch recommendation that works and feels like OEM? I want to avoid the Xtreme, racing and heavy-duty stuff. Too hard on the left leg in slow and city traffic around here.

Thanks in advance for any and all input! I really appreciate it. :006:

EXEDY Globalparts Corporation | High Performance and OEM Clutches and Flywheels

I think Exedy was the OEM supplier for Nissan on the Z31. You can buy the Exedy OEM kits on Amazon for $130-140 which include the pressure plate, friction plate, throw-out and pilot bushing.

Thanks, Ken. I saw Exedy and those kits while shopping around. I take it you have installed an Exedy clutch and are happy. I think I put one in my Honda about 3 years ago and it's still solid. Looks like they will guaranty the fit.

Cheers!:icon_super:

Not quite. I have a 6031 kit sitting in box awaiting my automatic-to-5 speed conversion. I'm search for a few more parts before I dive into the project.
