Have someone whos selling an 84 turbo but it has an engine problem. Here's the PM she sent me about it:

WEll I had my ECU replaced with another stock ECU, and now my car idles at 1500rpms.. ANd it cuts off before like 3 grand in first or second gear. No safty boost mode. LIke I can redline it in 3rd gear, or 4th, or 5th, but firsts or second, never. It just dosent like to work.. I give up with my car, Im selling it.

Can anyone identify the problem and tell me if it would be worth Fixing and selling for a profit?

You couldn't even fix your 86 and now you want to buy an 84 that isn't running properly and try to sell it for a profit?

I never said i was going to fix it, i was going to call in some friends of mine. I didn't ever look fully into fixing my Z31 because i knew i was about to get a Z32, so there was no point. As for my avatar, it's just that, an avatar. it doesn't need to be grammatically correct.

I don't know enough about the Z31 Turbo's to even begin to figure out this problem. I'd almost say it sounds like something with the tranny although I could be entirely wrong. What was wrong with your 86?

Also how much is she selling the 84 for? Oh, and the fact that she's red lining it period doesn't make it too appealing as a buy.

Also, why don't you just let someone who has a clue worry about the car that's for sale? If you're too retarded to fix it on your own, shouldn't that be a clue that you shouldn't be buying it?
