What is interchangable between a 84T and a 88n/a

I have a 88 n/a 5 spd 2seater, the 84 is the same except its turbo. What body parts, engine parts, and interior parts can i change?? Also is the tranny in the turbo the LSD, I think thats what its called. Let me know all info anyone know about this. It will be veryhelpful in upgrading my 88 and restoring it as much as possible. Thank You

yes, the DIfferential, is a pos. THat is a very nice thing to have if you race. but, not many things are able to be swapped, because the two seater is shorter. But try for all means.

There are 2 versions of the Z31... the 84 - 86 & the 87 - 89. ONLY THE Z31T FROM 87 - 89 HAD THE LSD DIFFERENTIAL. The 84 - 86 Turbos did not.

The body changes were minor, but there are differences.

where did he say 2+2? from what i read, both are 2 seaters. all the interior should be swappable, thought the steering wheels are different. i think doors are the same. the hood, bumpers, and fenders are a bit different, as are the headlights. taillights are different. 4 lug wheels vs 5 lug. anyone else want to get what i missed?

most parts will change
Exterior:
if you change fenders, it will look like ass. Go look at the two.
Hood, headlights, and front bumper has to be done as a unit.

Interior:
door panels will not. otherwise, everything else will

Drivetrain:
Transmissions are not LSD.
Differentials can be LSD. (LSD stands for limited slip differential).
You don't have an LSD in either of your cars.

If you want more help, get specific. Lots of parts change. Lots of parts won't. Lots of parts will require other parts to change as well.

Thanks for the posts

Thanks for everything. Yeah I like my 88 front end better. So I could swap the
84's rear end for the better but my tranny in the 88 is good??? The 84 has the "ford" tranny and mine is the other. I heard the "ford" tranny poops out after some power is added. Other than that. Body and interior is somewhat what I was after but more along the lines as rear end and tranny, Which is better. Thanks Adam

Switching differentials would be a waste of time.... YOU DON'T HAVE THE LSD IN EITHER CAR.

Does the 88 turbo have a lsd diff?

and he did not say what kind the 84 was, and I did not know there were n/a 2 seaters, I am kinda new to this frame, but have done many repairs so far, and also in the middle of splicing a few z's together.
