VG30ET head question

this has prrobably been covered but i cant seem to find it so here goes, i was thinking about using the schiender valve springs, and JWT camshafts in my VG30ET but the cams decription on every site i find says that they MUST be used with JWT valve springs. i dont want the jwt valve springs because its only the outer valve springs. so im curious if anyone knows if i can use the JWT cams with the scheinder valve springs, or if you have a better setup tell me where to get it. thanks alot.

Here's a novel idea...

Get the entire package from Schnieder. They can/will grind cams to whatever lift and duration specs you need. Why mix so many engine part vendors?

i was thinking about that but im not that good at figuring out what specs i would need, im still learning alot about things like that.

Help for the rookie...

Assuming we're talking turbos, this grind will work nicely. The idle is a little ragged, but sounds nice. I can't say for sure about any performance gains because I didn't add one piece at a time with dyno runs to verify differences.

I also use the Schneider SS valves, and, their springs. Won't float a valve, per their claim, up to 10,000 rpm. I can't verify that either. :paranoid:

ok i saved the pic for my reference and i might end up using it. so you went with that grind+schneider valve springs+SS schneider valves right? just checking to make sure. if this setup works as good as yo say i just may end up going this direction. can you also tell me where you went on the net to order this setup. i realize the cams that are in the car now have to be sent out to be reground but i would like to see the site for myself where you got yours. thanks.

Last time I hold your hand today...

Dude... You buy Schneider stuff from SCHNEIDER.

Call 'em... Talk to 'em... They're waiting to serve you (and take your $$$$$...)

Later...
