I have an 1985 Z31 coupe non turbo. I just got it back on the road after 5 years idle. Heat controls dont work, blows hot air all the time. Cannot locate vacuum pump if it has one. have checked vacuum line to water ****, but **** doesn't seem to work. a/c doesn'/;t work, but quit before parking. Would really love to get heater controls to shut off hot air.

 

A non-turbo wouldn't have a vacuum pump. You'll just have to check vacuum lines methodically. If you have vacuum to the watercock, check it at that t-fitting inside the car that the line out from the **** leads to. Follow it either left or right from there.
