Unibody rust question - 84' 300zx N/A

Hey guys so Im new to the forum and recently traded an old chevy s-10 that was on her last leg to a guy that deperately wanted it for an 84' 300zx. Thought I was taking the guy for a bit of a ride but got home to find out he was doing the same. I got the car jacked up and found a decent amount of rust eating away the unibody that I couldn't see by just laying on the ground when I went to check it out. I'm now sitting here wondering what my options for this car are. It runs and drives excellently with 164XXX on the clock.

The rust is pretty serious on the unibody but hasn't touched the subframes or rest of the car. I can't find any holes in the floor and the doors all sit fine. She drives and handles fine without issue but i'm wondering how long that will last? Also wondering if anyone has repaired this type of issue before or should I just try and sell it/junk it? It just seems like it would be such a shame to trash such a nicely driving car because of this.

I will try and post pictures later today if I can.

Thanks

Sorry guys just noticed the separate section for this. Not sure if an admin can bump it over there or not

Pics Please

Welcome to the Club, and grats on the new Z. Post some pics when you get a chance, that way the guys can look her over and give you an opinion. One good thing is she is running and driving fine, worst case you can find another body in better shape that needs a motor and do a swap, that way you have a parts car. There are some very knowledgeable folks on this forum, some with extensive rust repair experience who can give you an honest opinion of what she might need in the way of repairs.
