I tried the headlight mod to keep down when on but they still went up. i unploged the conecter. is there any thing else i have to do.

 

That only works if you have the lowbeams on and the switch set for down, if you tap the brights it will lift up the lights, you might have disconnected the wrong thing, mine was a blue connector if I remember correctly.
