Stuttering radomly

Hi guys. My Z is acting possessed. I will be driving normally, and it will start misfiring, then feels like even more pistons start misfiring, then it either goes away on its own or I have to pull over and restart. This only fixes it sometimes. Mostly happens on acceleration, but sometimes happens when I'm just cruising. Nothing concrete starts the problem, or stops it. Idles fine most of the time, but sometimes it lopes. Bad ECU? Bad O2? I have no idea where to even start to look.

Get the FSM manuals from http://www.xenonz31.com/reference.html and look up the ECU codes. Another thing to check would be vacuum lines, along with all the general maintenance.

bad Crank Position Sensor

The one part a turbo motor has in addition to the Turbo, is the Crank Angle Sensor, they can get corroded or break, its about a 50$ part, you might check out your FSM and see how to trouble shoot the CAS

Thanks for the helpful responses, I'll be sure to check these things. I've only had the car a month so I'm still getting to know all the small details of the car.
