Type of oil

I have a manual 1986 z31 and I need to change my motor oil and trans fluid i don't know what's a good brand I know I need 5w-30 but what brand of oil

Any name brand will work fine.

ok I thought because it's an old car I need to use a specific motor oil

I like Mobil One for the engine and Redline MTF for the tranny. friend uses Royal Purple. stick with synthetics no matter what.
