yes a couple of mindreaders on this end..

if you would really like answers that would help you and avoid flames give the following info when you post: year of car, n/a or turbo engine, stick or slushbox. Most of us can tell by the year what model you have ie 85T is a turbo z31. Z cars come in many flavors and they are all different. example 84,85,86 Z31's pretty comparable. there were changes in 87,88,89. in addition 300ZX can refer to two completly different cars the Z31 and the Z32. No mindreaders here the more info you can post the more likely you get a cogent useful answer. The cars with L engine (straight six) changed almost yearly from their introduction. A 240Z and and a 280Z have similarities but they can also have wide variance.

so a z31 from 84 has a different intake pipe than a 89 z31?
also I got it off , the motor mount has to be removed then let the motor down a bit it comes off easy.

Yep, different turbo too. The pipe on the 84-87 cars comes extremely close to the motor mount. Ive gottn lucky and removed the pipe before without removing the mount. But if your there, removing the motor mount is easy. The 88-89 cars with the T25 turbo are easier to take off.

you might think you are cute or funny fordlover but you only show your ignorance with your remarks. there are 81, 82 ,83 s130 turbos as well as the z32 twin turbo. which is why if you really want a helpful answer state what vehicle you are asking about.

Roger, apparently you haven't noticed at the top of this page it shows you which section you are in (S30, S130, Z31, Z32, Z33, Z34). From time to time people may get confused, but normally when someone posts in the Z31 section it's because they have a Z31.

I also didn't see or interpret any of his posts as sarcastic "cute or funny", but I wouldn't be surprised if he did right after someone jumps down his throat and smacks him a few times.

Zxguy 1986 helped me out with this
Our Z pros will definitely have some input for you. Meanwhile, do yourself a favor. Sign in, go to User CP menu (upper left), click Edit Signature and add your Z model, year, shifter, turbo or NA, etc. Saves you having to add it to every post. (Guys here go crazy if you don't lock your Q to your specific Z every time you post...They just ignore questions without enough info) Then click Edit Avatar and add a little Z pic under your nick if you want. Cool. You are solid here.*

someone is already asking me for free advice that I have acquired over the years of owning and repairing Z's. I don't think it is too hard for them to identify what car they want advice on.
