rack and pinion leaking fluid can i replace the seals or have to replace the whole rack?

 

you can get a rebuilt for like $200 (at least last I checked) If you have confidence in your ability to rebuild hydraulic stuff then go for it. personally I rather have an expert do it and not afraid to replace timing belt or most other stuff on my 86
