All right, I need a nissan dealers email. I have no Idea if my car has had the injectors changed or not. I was talking with a nissan dealer in Germany, he said it was not a fuel problem. I said that I checked the computer and have no Idea what its trying to tell me. He then proceded to read the codes. No problem right? WRONG, he did not mark where it was initaily set, so now it still has the problem and I think it is rougher running now. so, anyone have an Idea why a cylynder will not fire? That is the problem I think I am having with it, thats why it is rough until I give it more gas. There is also a high buzzin under the hood, only rare during Idle and can be heard, after reving the engine. Plz help me with this, its really starting to hurt my head.
well, obviously nobody has a clue, or they all hate me...
to update my prev. post. I got the engine codes, there are 4 total.
14, 34, 23, 42.
14 = vehical speed sensor? I unpluged the TPS. this code came on, so I put it back on and the code disappeared.
34= Det. sensor is open or shorted. how do I fix that?
23= idle switch circuit is open.. is that normal?
42= Fuel Temp. sensor. How do I replace that?
ps, germans did not have these codes meanings, I had to look them up, so if you know they are wrong, plz let me know asap.

The fuel temp sensor is on the front of the fuel pressure regulator (located on the front of the intake plenum).
Theres a wire connection on it, just pull it straight off, then unscrew the temp sensor and put a new one on.

If I recall correctly, the sensor in located bottom of the block, passanger side.
Have to get under the car for easy access. It's fairly small, don't get it confused with the oil pressure sending unit, which looks like a little can screwed into the block with 1 black? wire coming out of the end.
Check if the wire harness is still attatched, if it is, you prabably need a new sensor.

thnx for all the info. one question, why does the Haynes say that the position of the idle screw has to be marked? either way, i need to replace these sensors. when this will be done, there is no tellin. I just had 2 wisdom teeth pulled, kinda druged up. but as soon as I do those sensors I will write up the status of the car.
thanx again all
