Original
I read through the forums here and all I see are people looking to modify their Z's. Why is this?? I have an 85 300ZX and I would never modify it. I feel that these awesome machines should be preserved as they were when they roled off the production line. After 9/11 an emphasis has been placed on patriotism and preserving the originality of the American Lifestyle. I feel in preserving such a vital member to automotive and performance heritage we are upholding everything that represents the American Dream. The American Dream is rushing out to your Z just for a Sunday afternoon drive. The passion for automobiles is something we cannot let go of....
Edited by passionnothobby on 06/13/02 09:10 PM.

Re: Original
most people want to get more out of their car than what it came with. speed can be pretty addictive. I have one which is my show car, and it will remain 100% original (waiting on my new nissan replacement windshield even now...)
I have others i will modify for other things though. one to set up for autocross, and another to be my "gizmo/gadget" car. different strokes for different folks. |
Re: Original
Upholding the "American Dream" by keeping a forgotten touring car bone stock? Strange ideas there...
