New to Z's but need Advice.

I am about to buy an 85 300ZX (n/a). 122Kmi, T-tops, analog instrumentation, 5spd, runs and drives like she's 3 weeks old, however she is that HIDEOUS color of ORANGE that some wacko thought looked good back in 85... (Will be painted black to match interior) NO DENTS / or RUST.
Problemas:
HIDEOUS COLOR!
general cosmetics
NEEDS T-TOPS RE-KEYED! (where do I get this done?)
Needs whole car re-keyed... (Perhaps I can get one key to work all the locks??)
NEEDS new carpet in rear (no seats in back)
NEEDS new upholstery (not ripped or anything just dingy from use...)
NEEDS new center console cover thingy...
NEEDS Allignment..

Other than that.. Whatcha guys think? She will be a DAILY DRIVER / PROJECT CAR / RACER ...

Other: About me... Read my post (in the 90-96 section)
Hope to hear from yallz soon.

Well if you do get this baby, then I might just have some parts for you :) If it runs good and has no rust, it's a good car, it's way cheaper to just paint it and get a few bits and pieces than have to repair the whole thing.

The Beast is back and badder than ever!

The body and engine sounds good. If the price is right it's a good deal. A locksmith can re-key the locks for you. An NA is never going to be fast w/o tons of money. As a daily driver it should be great. Good luck.
