Will an 1985 turbo hood fit a 1986 turbo?

Yes. No modifications needed.

84-86 all have same hoods. 87-89 all have same hoods. You won't be able to swap the two styles without also swapping head lights and bumper.

the only difference is '84 and '85 turbo's had a hood scoop, while the 86T's didn't. Don't forget to oil the springs for the safety catch and hood latches. I know far too many people whose hood has flown up while they were driving along, and I was a passenger in one incident. It was NOT pretty.
