recently i have been working on my car and trying to get it running again, it has been sitting in for a while.i did a tune-up and replace the fuel pump.also checked the fuel filter. whenever i try to turn my car on it would just stay on for about a minute and then turns off. does anyone know what it might be?

It should be obvious to one who has the skills, and automotive know how to accomplish a "fuel pump" replacement on a z31 that the ECU will (when asked) give you the codes needed to diagnose most of the "my car won't stay running" problems.

Other than pointing you towards diagnostic codes, I doubt anyone on the internet can assist you because that is where even an expert would have to begin.

 

It could be many things. You will have to run the codes on the ECU. Not hard, just read the manual and check the possibilities one at a time. Then come back and tell what you found.

i had the same prob. you need to check the tps first
