my intercooler project

so heres my problem, I live 20 miles north of Houston texas. its 95+ degrees 6 months a year it seems like so I need ac and the factory fan shroud. ive never been able to keep a electric fan turbo car cool here when its 100+ degrees and nasty humidity so these are the reasons im keeping ac and clutch fan. after looking at the options only way I could get it done was to go under the headlights.

I have wanted to intercool mine but man that looks like alot of work.
Are you still using a factory air cleaner?
seems to in the photos
because changing mine gave another 20hp.

The 02-05 Mitsu evolution employed a misting device(sprayed water like a fog ) on the intercooler at start up ,we asked the tech line what is this for extra ponys?
They explained they had trouble with hot soak startups in the south in high heat
it might be something you would want to try.
also they had a soliniod on the firewall that bled off 2psi boost in the line to the waste gate it could be rigged to a micro swt.
