Is the work that hard? Are the pay and benefits too low? Is there no prestige in the job? Or is there so few peeps using the site, they all got bored, and went to zcar.com?

Hmm...I don't know! Maybe, but I've been to Zcar.com and I found their forum to be much more disorganized and confusing than here. Besides, I don't think moderators get paid anything at all, so in the end it's all just about helping other Z drivers out.

As Rooster P. Foghorn would say, "that was joke, son".

Yes, I'm aware of the situation over at zcar.com and I go there for the hilarity of it all. You gotta' admit, it's fun.

For the past four years I've only visited the z31.com site because it was the best place to be if the z31 was your ride. But, lately something has changed over there and it seems a little too up tight to be of real interest. *yawn* If it ain't a turbo, it gets deleted. A nOOb better not ask a question or seek clarification of a FAQ. His post will last just long enough to get a flames a few times, then, deleted.

This is a well done site, with good features. It just don't get a lot of hits, and hardly anyone "hangs out" here.

Nah, moderators don't usually get compensation, it's generally a volunteer type position.

My excuse is I've been busy lately. My latest accomplishment is turning Skeeter ( http://zspot.nissanpower.com/ ) into a turbo GLL model. It's required acquisition (and dismantling) of several cars in order to incorporate all the features I want her to have.
Leave it to me to try and build something that almost no one else has (dare to be DIFFERENT!). Unfortunately I've been rushed into doing this, so she's nowhere near the plans for 'final outcome'.

There are no pics of her current state in the link above, one day I'll have to document and snap some pics.

Yeah, believe you me. I wish I got something for it. But the love of the forum seems to be enough for now. LOL

just curious, any new pictures?.
he's running and driving, although in great need of suspension work. I've got a bunch of cute little MOOG boxes now, filled with new parts - upper/lower ball joints, control arm bushings, tension rod bushings and some other stuff. Also have a new pair of Nissan rear springs and an entire front/rear swaybar kit for him. It will all have to wait until after Autorama as I'm getting Al (my '86T) ready for that show.

I hope he does well.
