metal bar fell off
 

A 10in bar fell of my fender an frame and now my front end shakes really bad does any know what it could be

One guess: Alignment prob due to bent tie rod, arm, axle, frame.. Something is bent or missing.:frown:

Did something whack you? or are you rusting away...:rolleyes:

Anyway, bad idea to keep driving her. Esp on the highway. Take her off the road, fix the prob. Possible serious risks here, to yourself and others.

Tension rod?

Fender strap?
 

Could be a tension rod, but I think you would feel the effects as it loosens long before it fell off. Could also be one of the fender straps that keeps the front fenders from flapping in the wind at speed. These are held by fairly small screws that rust out easily.

The fender stay is not a metal bar, its a thin metal piece. I've driven several car without them and never notice and shaking or noticeable problems.
