MAF Issues
I'm debating the Z32 MAF swap, and I've read the 'how-to' about a million times. I bought a turbo ECU from an 87 so I had something to practice on, just incase. When I opened the ECU, and looked for the resistors, they aren't there. I scanned the pictures provided, to see if I might be looking at the wrong area, and searched every mm of the green board. None of the parts from the write-up were present in my ECU. However, I noticed a raised board with different parts on mine, that were not on the one in any of the write-ups or pictures.
I really would like to do the swap, but am completely lost, now. Can anyone tell me why I can't find the pieces, or what I'm doing wrong? |
I assume you are talking about this write-up?
Airflow sensor upgrade information. He doesn't state which ecu to use, but there are several different Z31 ecu versions... XenonZ31 - Fuel Injectors and ECUs And it sounds like the swap isn't worth while since the stock Z31 MAF is good for ~350 - 500hp? |
