Rust is the bane of these cars, particularly along the rail sections underneath the car. Look for corrosion inside the passenger side front fender directly under the battery. The battery should have tray underneath it with a drain that funnels any boiled over acid past sheet metal. If the tray is missing or damaged, damage to the fender and rail on that side of the car is likely. If you buy the car, you will likely need to replace every fluid and many things made of rubber, including the timing belt on the engine.
