kinda stupid question
 

hey im new to this import thing,but i have 2 84 300zx 50th anniversary cars,where do i get performance parts for them? i looked at overboost.com,and didnt find anything,im looking for maybe a turbo upgrade and maybe headers,or anything to make it go faster!!,thanx alot for any help.

You don't put headers on a turbo car anyway.

Go to http://z31.com and read the modifications section.

The z31 is such a cheap car that anyone and their sister can afford to buy it. But they can't afford to modify it. As a result, no one makes performance parts specific for the Z31. You have to buy parts that can fit any other car, or buy a part for another car and modify it to fit yours.

Last thing, are you sure you have a TRUE 50th Anniversary Edition 300ZX? Just curious cause there are lots of people out there who think they have one, and they don't.

If your car looks like this, <a href="http://z31.com/ae">http://z31.com/ae</a> and has all those features, it's a true 50th AE. If not, you have one of the thousands of regular 1984 300ZXs that dealers slapped 50th AE badges on and charged more money for. Not that it's a bad car, it's just not the special edition.

Check with HKS, they make a couple of things for your car. I/C and exhaust for sure, just that they are bit expensive. If you run a search engine on Z31 performance parts, I think you might find other stuff.

Motorsport Auto has a wider selection of Z car parts for performance, even for Z31's which are hard to find compared to Z32's.

Try python.com, (electronic control mods),mofugas.com,Wildbil's electronic's, and Jim Cook racing. Go to links off of sport z magazine.com--you may be surprised what is out there if you have the bucks and spend some time looking.
